About Me

People say I'm:

On Gather, I'm Looking For ...:

Points, of course. But, I want to have fun and meet interesting people in the process. Also to promote my music and photography, as well as meet others with the same interests and share information. I like to talk politics, my twist on the environment, and who knows what else. So, I may pop up in any conversation.

Interests

Favorite Music, Artists, Genres:

Rock (the harder the better), blues (which I play very well), electronic if it's good, experimental music, classical music (I wake up to it), jazz, some rap (again, if it's good). I tend to prefer underground music to mainstream pop music, and avoid commercial radio like the plague.
Favorite Books, Writers, Genres:

Nelson DeMille, Tom Clancy, Micheal Connelly, Ayn Rand, way too many others.
Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres:

Tied for my two favorite movies are "A Clockwork Orange, " and "Real Genius."
Favorite TV Shows, Actors:

Been catching a lot of the Law and Order shows. Good to see Stephanie March back on SVU, she is one of my faves!
Interests and Activities:

My current work schedule is putting a major dent in my interests and activities. I am a guitarist who is currently not in a band, although I have been in many. I have a recording project called Bob Cronley: Project Independence that can be seen on MySpace and Local Music Life (dot com) I am a photographer, photographing many subjects. I was recently at the Waynopalooza show, taking pictures of all the punk/thrash bands there, and had a great time. I have done a lot of work in electronics, and love to do it. My soldering skills and circuit board inspection skills are very high.
Wish List:

A better computer, a better camera, better pickups in my guitars, a better guitar amp, a good bass amp, better recording equipment, a better place to record, a nicer car, my own house. Oh, yes, and World Peace. (at least I don't need two snowmobiles and a Winnabago)

Is The Answer your new favorite rock band? No? Then listen to them again. Those guys are the ONLY rock band Ireland has ever produced. (U2 bites. Rory kicked ass but he's a bluesman. Cranberries? Please) They saved riff rock. them and Chickenfoot.

How's your tone bro? Problems? Slap a couple humbuckers in that thing and it'll be a good start. ')
